After a career as a physician, Qi moved to Southern California and fell in love with the intense beauty of its nature. She found expression for this beauty through painting "en plein air", principally with oil and acrylic. Qi is mainly known for her landscapes, seascapes, wildlife and portraits.

 

Qi has now relocated to Northeast Florida,  where she can be found working in her new studio and searching for new subjects to paint and add to her collection.
